The paternal relationship between Paul Haut and his daughter
Dorothea Haut is confirmed by the direct inheritance path of autosomal DNA down to their DNA tested descendant JT.
The segmental (via DNA segment triangulation) and total DNA shared between JT and other confirmed descendants of
Carl Friedrich Ferdinand Haut/
Caroline Friederike Hackbarth is consistent with the expected ranges for their respective relationships. Since JT descends from Carl Friedrich Ferdinand Haut/Caroline Friederike Hackbarth through Paul Haut and his daughter Dorothea Haut, the presence of significant shared DNA between JT and other known descendants of Carl Friedrich Ferdinand Haut/Caroline Friederike Hackbarth validates the generational links along this paternal line.
This supports the conclusion that DNA was passed from MRCA couple Carl Friedrich Ferdinand Haut/Caroline Friederike Hackbarth through Paul Haut to Dorothea Haut, and ultimately to JT, confirming this direct ancestral connection through multiple generations.
