The segmental (via DNA segment triangulation) and total DNA shared between DSMW and other confirmed descendants of MR is consistent with the expected ranges for their respective relationships. Since DSMW descends from MR through Lena Wohlgemut and her son Hans Rempel, the presence of significant shared DNA between DSMW and other known descendants of MR validates the generational links along this maternal line.

This supports the conclusion that DNA was passed from MRCA MR through Lena Wohlgemut to Hans Rempel, and ultimately to DSMW, confirming this direct ancestral connection through multiple generations.
