The segmental (via DNA segment triangulation) and total DNA shared between CA and other confirmed descendants of TD/A is consistent with the expected ranges for their respective relationships. Since CA descends from TD/A through Harriet Drayton and her son Stephen Smalls, the presence of significant shared DNA between CA and other known descendants of TD/A validates the generational links along this maternal line.
