David J. Sawatzky (11 Apr 1890 - 18 Apr 1983) Male
The paternal relationship between David J. Sawatzky and his son
John Sawatzky is confirmed by the direct inheritance path of autosomal DNA down to their DNA tested descendant JS.
The segmental (via DNA segment triangulation) and total DNA shared between JS and other confirmed descendants of
Anton Heppner is consistent with the expected ranges for their respective relationships. Since JS descends from Anton Heppner through David J. Sawatzky and his son John Sawatzky, the presence of significant shared DNA between JS and other known descendants of Anton Heppner validates the generational links along this paternal line.
This supports the conclusion that DNA was passed from MRCA Anton Heppner through David J. Sawatzky to John Sawatzky, and ultimately to JS, confirming this direct ancestral connection through multiple generations.
